2 Weeks Old

Our little Ian is now 2 weeks old. The time has gone by so quickly. He's building neck strength and is starting to stay awake for longer stretches (usually in the middle of the night). His big sister Anna loves to peek over the bassinet, pat his head, share stories and toys, and if he's sleeping she'll try hard to wake him.

I average between 3-5 hours of sleep each night and I find it amazing that each day I'm still able to function and take care of everyone. Levi has been wonderful and each morning he wakes up early to feed Anna then plays with her while I care for Ian. His help really eases the daily stresses.

Last night at Anna's bed time, I took the first pictures of the kids together. Anna giggled as she held her baby brother for the first time. It's these precious moments that make the sleepless nights a little more bearable.
